Leaoers UTG 3-12x44 compact side focus 30MM???

Anyone have experience with this one?  I'm contemplating it for the wife's HW30S. 

It currently has a bugbuster mounted.  I have other UTG's, like them all. Except the bugbuster.  We both find it dim, fuzzy-edged with a finnicky AO.

Would like to increase mag a little and still remain compact.  I also like a little larger objective.  The looks are appealing with the swept-back sunshade, and I would love the side focus.  This 3-12x44 would fit the bill perfectly for $150.   I also would like the capability of switching it to other rifles.  I'm confident it'll hold up on the little 30, but would it last on a  warmed-up HW95 or HW35E, should I decide to swap it around a little?

I've got one on my NP2 right now.
I like it so much I've got a full size 3x12 and 4x16 versions for other AG's
I'd stay with the smaller side wheel (If you get one) myself.

If it'll hold up on that big ben, then it'll be safe on anything I got.

While the bugbuster is usable,  I was a little disappointed in it from the get-go , but  thought I'd live with it.    But the 30 is such a delight and the gun we both shoot the most.   I finally decided it was worth investing in something to make the rifle "just right". 

The price point is great.  I'm going for it.

I'll keep the Bug as a scope checker if I suspect I have another that's been eaten.

I did have to get an offset 1 piece mount to bring it back for a good eye relief on the NP2.
I got the UTG QD version and love it!

I the 4-16x44 swat scope and it was on the NP2 for a while, I liked it a lot on the gun, it is a bit on the heavy side but it never gave me a problem, I like the 60mm wheel I got for mine too as the small stock one is hard to turn.  A lot of adjustment is able to be made and a lot of mil dots on the reticle.  For the money I think they are great scopes, I almost wish I had gone with the etched glass model instead but this one fits the bill.

I just got one for Christmas and so far I really like it. I got mine from Amazon with the 60mm wheel for $118 shipped.

Etched gratical too, using it on a Hatsan 125 almost a year now, holding up fine, can even use IR with just porch lights no flare up.  Great scope as far as I'm concerned

Good to hear.  My other UTG's flare a bit, but I don't use the IR anyway.  Perhaps this one will be the ticket.

I've got that same scope on my Sumatra carbine. Works great, clear glass, etched reticle & True Strength, so it should hold up on your wife's springer. I just added the 80mm side wheel to the scope. Made it even better. 

It comes with Weaver rings, so if you're using it on a dovetail, you'll need to either change rings or get yourself a set of these:

It showed up today.  I mounted it on said rifle. 

I yike it.  I yike it ayot.

No flare on the IR.  Was pleased to discover that the IR feature is confined to the mil-dot area. 

Now I have to take it off next week 'cuz a Vortek kit is en route as we speak.

Only detraction is the "Accushot" logo on the side focus knob.   Kinda cheapens in my opinion, but I knew that going in.  UTG logo would have been much better.   May have to find a small decal somewhere in my drawer to cover it up...
