Nap, the gun is light and it will jump around if you don't hold it.  You don't need a death grip but you can't go limp either.  When shooting from the bench or bi-pod I always use my forehand on top of the scope for some downward pressure.  You can't fight the recoil but you must manage it.  Hope this helps.

ok this is just NOT FAIR !

Last week I get a phone call from one of our permission landowners.
 He tells me he has a client who needs some help with  a pest invasion on his property, and they are causing some serious problems to the livestock. He asks if I can round up the guy's and take care of the problem for him. (hey, that's what we do, Right ?)

I call up Dale and ask if he can go check it out for us and get it set up. Of course Dale gets right on it the next day, drives over to check it out.

Today I get a message from Dale saying Nappy, Baxter, and him will be there tomorrow in full force with all the new toys.
 guess what,... I can't go tomorrow !     

 IT'S JUST NOT FAIR I SAY ! ! !

Ced, "why look any further " you say, well options are options besides other than the custom made extremes and that other custom brand which I can't think of at the moment  qackinbush I think, there is no other .357 putting out that  kind of energy with that quality of build that I know of.   There may be some sleeper ammo out there that the slayer can  exploit.

I know huh?  Like I don't have 5 bullets per gun per caliber that shoot well.......lol!

pm me your address i will send you ........50 lyman 125 grain hollow points i poured  ....free....   if you want to try them
and post back  at 40 -60 yards they seemed great
the slayer does seem loud  as the shooter  but if you stand back 10 feet and let someone else shoot
it sounds much quieter ......
