Scope reticle

Hey everybody, I got a scope with a reticle like this except mine has triangles but I believe it's the same setup. Says on the box (for real guns) that each dot or triangle in my case is spaced the same amount apart so you don't have to remember what each mil is. Like for 12ga each triangle represents 25yds. I haven't mounted mine yet because I have to get higher mounts for the AO to clear the barrel. So my question is, is this the same with airguns? As far as each dot being the same amount apart? I think one needs more information about the scope to answer you question.  Like is it a fixed magnification or adjustable magnification would help.  If its a second focal plane adjustable magnification scope one would have to know at what magnification will give a true mil dot reading. If its a fixed magnification it should be about 15/16" between mil dots at 25 yrds. JMO

It's a adjustable magnification, 4-16-40mm centerpoint scope.

Not familiar with Centerpoint scopes but I am guessing on a 4x16 scope the true reading should be at 10x.  At 25yrds one mill dot to mill dot should be 3.6" (at 100 yrds) divided by four or .9 inches.  JMO

 That being a Second Focal Plane scope and varible power also will change the distance from each dot.

 100 yard 3.6 inches
  75 yard  2.7 inches
  50 yard  1.8 inches
  25 yard    .9 inches
 12.5 yard  .45 inches

Trajectory Aiming Guide (TAG) reticle, which is a ballistics reticle specifically designed for different firearm bullet/load combinations.

. Not for air rifles, more for high powered powder burners and shotguns.

I have several of these on my rifles and they work very well. I purchased mine from Walmart. If you still want the Centerpoint brand scope you may have to wait a day or two for Walmart to restock them, I went to 3 Walmarts in my area and they are out of them or you can order from this seller which I just did. It's going to be about the same price. Good Luck.

Yeah, I'm trying to find the best scope for $100 or less.
Requirements: Adjustable Objective, Mil-Dots, Atleast 3-9 Magnification (Prefer 4-16 though)
I had one of the Centerpoint scopes in the past like Kris posted above but now I can't find any with the regular mil dots, just the T.A.G. Reticle.

For $10 over the budget you could have a great scope with everything you want

50mm lens will gather plenty of light and mil-dots 3-9x plus 10 yard to whatever AO.

 I wouldnt buy a 4-16 power scope that is around 100 bucks...maybe its because I have seen the light and clarity...get a 3-9 and focus more on glass rather then raw power..

as its said with airguns no matter how much power you have if you cant hit your target what the point-point blank have an accurate airgun. Same thing with a scope no matter how much power you have if you cant see your target whats the point....point blank spend money on decent glass.

That TAG reticle actually looks kinda' interesting. It's definitely a ballistic reticle with increasing units of subtension as you go down, but the windage subtensions stay the same--probably milliradian. Love to try it myself. They coulda' done without the triangles though.

Gotta' be mil. The lowest line has 4 dots each side and looks to be about the std. 5 mil along the horizontal axis from x-hair axis to post tip, just eyeing it from the lower line.
