My new AO Barska

My 3-12x40 AO Barska arrived just in time for Christmas(Thank you any UPS people out there). Mounted it on my Nitro Venom .22 and did an "off hand" sighting in. Man..do I love AO or maybe its just another Christmas Blessing. Anyway...I can't believe how well it came in. When I get more time I'll do the bench sighting. Never had an AO scope before, I do like it so far...really helped my accuracy in the 25-35 yard range.

I just got a UTG AO and tried to zero it today. I failed but honestly I'm not surprised. That's me and scopes. Will try again next week. Glad yours is working out for you.

I'm on my way back to Walmart this morning. I'm returning two Barska scopes. I bought one, and mounted it on my Crosman Storm XT. I got it zeroed, and it worked well enough. Meanwhile a rifle I had ordered came unexpectedly early, and I needed a scope immediately. Since the Barska 1-4x28 IR worked well enough, and was cheap; I ran down to Walmart, and bought another. When I got home I decided to shoot my Storm for a bit, before I mounted the new scope on the new rifle.
Three shots in, I heard a strange crunch sound when I fired the third shot. Lost all accuracy after that. And I can hear something rattling around in there. My new rifle being more powerful; prompted me not to even bother mounting the second barska.
On a side note. Though both scopes look identical one has "AR" at the end of the model name. I can't see any difference.

 Barska scopes...I didnt think are airgun rated....i could be wrong but i dont recall them being...

Barska carries a line of airgun scopes.  All the others would be a gamble.

 I wasnt quite sure if they did or not.

 I can shoot just as good with a scope as i can open sights thanks to the good Lord for blessing me with good eye sight

I later discovered my gun failed and I have to send it back so I'm taking a rest whether I like it or not. I don't like it.
