So my stuff from Pyramyd Air arrived yesterday, a day earlier than the tracking information indicated. Wife told me at lunch, so I couldn't wait to get home. So I got.
1. Hatsan BT65 QE .25
2. Gamo Whisper IGT .22
3. Air Venturi G6 hand pump.
4. Centerpoint 4X16X56 SF Mil Dot
5. Hatsan 3X9X40 AO Mil Dot
6. Hatsan Bipod (the scope and bipod were part of a combo upgrade with the BT65 I was unaware of at the time I added it)
7. One tin each of .25 pellets (H&N Spitzkugeln, Barracuda Hunter Extreme, Crow Mag and Air Arms Field )
8. One tin each of .22 cal pellets (H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme, Field Target Trophy, and 500ct JSB Exact 18.1)
9. Leapers 1 inch premium medium Weaver mounts.
The pellets and mounts were in my cart before the contest. The reason the pellet quantities were only one each was I had been doing some comparison shopping to see which tin would be free (if I mixed and matched ) and the price.
So with all the choices available why did I choose the Hatsan and the Gamo? Well I have been wanting a Hatsan PCP for a while and there are plenty of enablers posting targets etc. of their guns (you know who you are LOL).
I’ve never tried a Gamo gas ram and I've had a few Gamo rifles and found them to be decent shooters.
I snapped a few pics as I opened the 3 boxes but I will have to wait till this weekend to assemble things and shoot any of them. Plus I need my adapter to arrive for my hand pump.
