I honestly don't think the point was ever off center but rather the dome by design has a better ballistic coefficient. Its surprisingly accurate in my RX2 right on the heels of Beeman FTS or HN FT-. It would make no sense tgat they made the pointed hollow within the skirt centered but could not do so with the point. I think aerodynamically, despite a sharp point, the domes generally shoot better. A wad cutter can be miserably inaccurate as well in my gun. I think it was Silver Ace or some such that looked like this impressive wad cutter but wow was it awful.

The EunJin 32.4gr pointed pellets shoot good in most of my .22 pumpers.

Indeed! I shoot them & the 28Gers in my Steroided 342. Slow & heavy with a punch.

generally speaking, i have found pointed pellets not very accurate at longer yardages. although, the Crosman 'semi-pointed' do perform very well in my 177 Diana RWS 52.
overall, most of my air rifles prefer RN/domed pellets of some sort.
