Need advice on Hill pump

I am unwilling to spend the money on a 4500 psi air tank. My 3000 psi tank, gives me a few full fills, then of course, it drops off. As an option, I am considering a Hill pump to top off my rifles. I have never used a hand pump, but I understand this is a good one. I would like opinions as to whether or not this is a reasonable option. I know that hand pumps are often discouraged due to the increased risk of moisture, but I think the Hill product has a device that at least partially addresses this risk. Finally, about how much pumping would be required to top off the rifle reservoir from around 2,500 to the full 2,900?

All i use is my hill mk 3. On an airforce rifle to go from 2500-2900 you would be looking at 100 or so pumps. Not hard at all. I use mine to go up to 3400 psi. If you have a tank to get you most of the way then top off with the pump that would be easy. Going from empty to full just takes more time. Not hard just takes longer.
What gun are you pumping?

I have had a couple of benjamin pumps and they did not last. Now I have a hill pump.I have had it for about 3 years and have had zero problems out of it.If you are going to use a pump hill is the way to go.

An AA S510 Ultimate Sporter in .22, and a RAW HM1000 in .177. Being a regulated 177, the RAW actually does very well on a less than full charge, would use the pump more with the AA.

The Mark 3 have been replaced with the mark 4 and its $290.
I have a mark 3 and it works great. The cheaper air force pumps apparently work well if you can't find a NOS mark 3 pump.
