Glad it worked out for you have you had a chance to stretch the distance out a bit yet... I was a bit worried that with the barrel being towards .218 that maybe only the larger headed pellets would work...
I do think that the Crosman barrels are rifled tubing of something like 1018 steel which is some what ductile so yep some plasticity... and if extruded tubing will have some variance in I.D...

I have not had the chance shoot paper past 10 yards yet (lazy) but, I have been picking off really small branches off trees 50 yards out.
Cool thing today though, I wanted to see if my worst accurate pellet (2 to 4 inch group-shotgun) crow magnums would group. Boy did they group. Stinking one holers from 22 fpe up to 40 fpe. Even cooler thing was no scope adjustment from chp's and still hit bulls eye.
Can't wait to see if the jsb 25.39's work. Now that would be great.
I am seeing a strange thing happen though and I am not sure what it is yet. I am getting 1 flyer for every 10 shots (every time). I ran a 40 shot string yesterday and every mag there was 1 flyer(chp's and now the crow magnums). Somethings is still up and I can't put my finger on it yet. I am having a feeling its the bolt probe oring in the barrel. I never changed it since I have had the gun.
One other thing I noticed was how I tuned the gun determined the accuracy (gun never did that before either). I don't mean just tuning for a certain fps/fpe or low ES, what I mean is if I tune the gun at a high pressure >2500psi for an extremely high efficiency (very little air used), the accuracy goes to *(&^.
So I have been running a 2000 psi fill for 20 shots >40fpe down to 1000psi with the 18 grainers and 40 or 50 shots at 20 to 30 fpe with the 14 grainers.
How do I get 40 fpe between 2k psi and 1k psi ?, I mutilated everything when I was running .357 cal on it for a max of 131 fpe and just put it back together with a .168" transfer sleeve.
Almost forgot,
The darn NP is now grouping the chp's too now. Not one holers due to me with hold but stinking awesome from what it used to be.
