Concerning the Trail, you haven't said anything about the condition of the bore.........some thing you would learn thru slugging. There is a fairly goodchance you'll find that the first couple of inches have an ID slightly smallerthan the remainder.......a result of being pressed into the breach block. The catch is, that until the tight section is relieved thru lapping, the remaindercannot be reliably checked. I'm not familiar with Crosman barrel quality but I can offer this: a gooduniform bore only needs a few tenths of choke. Any more doesn't seemto help. Here's what I have used on unchoked LW blanks with good results.http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/rgb_1/chokecollar.jpg?1449579796550&1449579797664&1449579813451Hope this helps. Ron
The pictured three screw version produced .0004-.0005 bore constriction.Using two 4-40 screws in an altogether different piece gave .0003. I mightadd......they were very tight. Ron
