And yes I did a search and all kinds of ultimate's came up but no USAR's (and we aren't talking Army Reserves). So if I had one, and I don't, I think it would be:

1) Multi shot because I do miss on rare occasions.
2) PCP as the less moving around the better (see # 1). Twenty shots per fill should be plenty.
3) Light weight because I'm old and like to still hunt.
4) Minute of squirrel accuracy. Were not punching paper here, we're picking a spot between the ear and eye.
5) A classic rifle appearance, no black guns for me, had enough of them in VN!

Do I have it, no but I've got an Air Arms S410 that I'm liking some and going to give it a chance to earn the title.

So, do you have one? Let us hear about it or what you want it to be..........

There are lots of PCPs that meet your requirements, however you forgot to say how loud or quiet does it need to be?

If money is not an issue I would pick an Air Arms s510 carbine with a regulator, you can easily get 40 shots per fill and enough accuracy for 75+ yards shots and since we are talking Air Arms, quality will be top notch and you will love it I can assure you that

If you want to have a better deal you have to take a look at the Hatsan at44w-10 I have one and get 20 shots per fill from 190bar to 140bar (33fpe) and all of those shots are inside an inch @50 yards in field conditions and with human error (actually 19 shots are inside 1", I have to admit I pulled a lot of shots). However it is not an out of the box rifle but it is really easy to get it shooting as mine or even better, if you don't want to mod the rifle you still get a pretty solid rifle which gives you around 20shots per fill but with less consistency. I am 15 years old and I have a massive BSA scope on top of mine (1.5lbs) and I can hit spinners offhand all the way out to 40yards, but a lighter scope would be better.

My third option would be a qb79 with multishot breach, I'm actually waiting for mine to come in (without the multishot) the reason I bought it is because it is so easy to mod, gets a ton of shots, is accurate and it is very light! I admit I will miss the multishot capabilities from my at44 but that can be fixed by buying a multishot breach which I may do. If you've got the money printer in the basement warmed up. look at a Daystate Huntsman. A pound more than the Discovery, two pounds less than the Marauder, and should meet your other qualifications...not that I can speak from personal experience. :-)

Or for the same money, you can get a Marauder and hire a caddy. :-) :-) :-)

I've executed a couple tree rats with my .25 Marauder this year, death was instant and uncontested. I've been tempted to take my .177 Marauder out, but haven't yet.

First option is a Disco with Muti-shot breech and barrel shroud, Lightweight, quiet and very accurate. I own one! 1/2" groups at 40 yards, 35 regulated shots.

Second- Benjamin Prod in either model standard or Woods walker in .22. I own one! 1/2" groups at 35 yards, 24 shots and super lightweight with a 3-9 32mm AO Scope.

Third- if on a budget.. standard stock Disco with a TKO and a little bit of trigger work and some fine tuning. I own one! 20 shots 1/2" groups at 40 yards.

Fourth- High End model, Kalibrgun Cricket in 9mm, A little big but works great and 1/2" groups at 75 yards with 81 grain JSB's. I own one! A little heavy!

If I had to start over and choose one gun for small game it would be the Daystate Regal XL in .22, Super light weight 6 lbs and very accurate.

Thats my list of good Squirrel rifles,,, still would love to have the Daystate though!

I forgot to mention the daystate regal XL, between the airarms and the regal I would probably take the Air Arms carbine regulated just because of the bluing and cheaper magazines. However you can't go wrong with either one.

Sumatra carbine. 6 pounds without scope, pretty short, adjustable power for different pellets, very accurate and powerful. Plus it has that sexy Korean look. LOL

I agree with Blackdiesel, the Sumatra Carbine is great. I own the .25 and .22 neither is pellet fussy and very light and accurate. If you need her quite you can always get an LDC. Nice and short easy to handle, repeater, and adjustable power. The Daystate Regal is another great choice. I own one in .22 deadly accurate and quite!!! Very light, repeater, 40shots easily. But the Sumatra Carbine is an excellent choice.

Two. AA S410/S510 Carbine .22 and Sumatra Carbine .25. One for squirrels in the trees and one for squirrels on the ground.
Both have adjustable power. The Sumatra .25 is too powerful for squirrels in the trees where I live. If I had to pick just one... well I don't. :-)

My S510 carbine is my ultimate one rifle for every situation. Now if I dont have to worry about extra long shots my BSA S10 is also just as good but since it is only 11 fpe I have to know when to use it and when not to. But anything 50 yds and under is in serious danger as long as the wind isnt howling plus I get about 200 shots out of the BSA S10

I have not been out with the TX200 in the woods yet but I am guessing its going to be equally deadly on all small game.

+1 The Sumatra isn't pellet picky & the fact that you can adjust the power to your ammo of preference is a bonus too.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the Brocock Contour. Lightweight (under 5 lbs), quiet repeater with an excellent reputation for accuracy.

Brocock Contour .22 would be an excellent choice also. If I'm not mistaken they are made by Daystate, not sure. Very accurate and light carbine. Jim Chapman also uses a Walther Rotek .22 I have not shot one yet, but Jim did a nice review on one. My understanding its one of his favorite squirrel guns. Best of luck in your search.

I didn't respond due to the criteria. But when you says what's your USAR, mine is the mini rod. I get 24 shots from a 2750psi fill, it's shoots jsb kings at 35fpe & the king heavies at 38fpe. Farthest shot was a gray squirrel at a ranged 72yrds. 40yrds it will do a 5 shot group inside a dime, if I do my part. It weighs in at 7lbs 8oz with a loaded clip, bi-pod & sling. This thing is awesome!!!!

.22 Disco with full shroud & multi-shot breech, and several uniquely configured p-rods, as Sam had pointed out.
