What are guys using in your .25 besides JSB Kings? Those are the only ones I've tried so far that fit half way snug in the breech. H&N Baracuda Hunters will literally fall out unless you cock pointed at the deck. Benjamins fit a bit better, at least they don't fall out. I was gonna order some H&N Field Target to try some lighter weights in 19.91 but I won't if they're gonna fit like the Baracudas. Still haven't had time to sight it in. This weekend?

My 135/.25 likes H&N Crow Magnums, my 1000X/.25 likes Vortex 19.91's (I've read that they are the same as H&N 19.91's).

Do those fit snugly (is that a word?) in the breech of the rifles? The Baracudas fall right out and a couple got smashed upon closing the barrel before I learned to keep pointed down when loading/cocking.

Yes, they fit pretty snug. Someone posted a while back that Hatsan barrels tend to run on the loose side and Hatsan has pellets made by H&N that are slightly larger than the regular run (the Hatsan Vortex Supreme series, says on the tin "Designed and made in Germany"). On the M135/.177 I just received, Xman brown box heavies fit real snug and are settling in at around 1050 fps. Anything lighter than 10gr goes supersonic (don't want to upset the neighbors).

With the M135/.25, the 26.23gr CrowMags carry 36+ fpe at the muzzle and have good expansion and tremendous knockdown. I got one nutter center mass at 20 yards and it fell like a stone, the pellet went thru & thru but knocked it a foot off the branch and it was in nutter heaven before it hit the ground.

Yeah, I read about the H&N/Vortex pellet thing. That's why /I ordered these H&N Baracudas. Strange that they want to fall out and your Crow Magnums fit well, almost ordered those. The JSB Kings fit fine & the Benji are ok. Have no idea yet how accurate any of 'em are. Wow, that's a VERY nice offer! I'll pm you my addy but man if the postage is a lot don't bother with it!

Man, what a boring rifle this is! Took it out to the pole barn to site it in with the open sights. At about 17 yards (50') both the Baracuda Hunters (even though they fall into the breech) and JSB Kings shot 1" groups WITHOUT TOUCHING the elevation or windage knobs. I'm saying they were doing this on the bulls eye of 4" shoot 'n see targets where the bulls eye isn't an inch in diameter. Never had that happen before! Wasn't easy to see it even though I'm blessed with good vision at this advanced age. The Benjamins did almost as well but I had a couple of flyers with them. Also a number of deformed pellets and they really fit (don't?) as poorly as the Cudas. No more Benji .25s for me.

I know, it didn't happen because I'm old & ignorant and struggle through life with an ancient flip phone so no pics.

I've been wondering what scope to use on my 95 Vortex .22 that I've only been shooting with open sights so far and the Edge Vortex .25 that should be here tomorrow. I don't plan on using the one they come with. I've got 2 CPs. a 3-9X40 AO & a 4-16X40 AO available. Hate to have one blow up.........

I bought a few 4x32 AO UTG scopes with mil dot and they are great, especially for the $47.00 I payed shipped,  included rings (although rings are Picatinny). Scopes are working fine on my vortex 95 and Vortex Edge ;- )
