After about 70 shots and tweaking the trigger, the Hat 135/.177 is starting to settle in. I consider it another successful refurb from Hatsan.

The flyer at 1:00 high was while zeroing in the red dot.

I've put 100-125 pellets through my 95 .22 so far. My left bicep is not liking me much right now. Going to mount the scope tonight and try, TRY to zero it tomorrow. It'll be me that has a deficit in this process, not the rifle or scope.

It's my shoulder that hollers when I shoot for a long time. But then pretty much every body part hollers now a days. That's what I get for gettin' so old!

I chronied the 125 springer .177 @ 1185 with 8.44 JSB's and 1083 with CPH 10.5's that's 27.2 FPE. I also shot the 21g pyledriver pellets @700 FPS and put them through a 1" thick wooden box sitting 100 yards out holding my target.

Good numbers for a 125. I was shooting the 135 today and got 1075 fps average (with a few in the 1100+ range) with the CPH 10.5's and about the same fpe. Did your 125 diesel on the first few shots?...My 135 didn't, I assume it had a few shots on the clock prior to my ownership though it looks brand new. Or maybe the Hatsan techs took the time to clean it during refurb. At any rate, a lot of gun for the $$$.

No dieseling at all but I put about 50 through it before the chrony. My 135 .25 cal chronied 758 with 25g JSB's and 1050FPS with gamo 14.4g PBA golds.

A .25 springer that chunks lead at over 1000 fps is crazy. I know that's a very light pellet for that caliber but still.

I just received a refurbished Model 95, in .22 cal, shipped from Airgunproshop.com for $109.  I have no reservations about ordering a refurbished Hatsan and will do so again in the future. 

How do you like it so far Butch? Looking forward to a review thread. Mine is supposed to get here today.

I love mine but havent been able to shoot it much since I have been sick as a dog.  I think I'm close to kicking it so hopefully there will  be some shooting in the near future.

Received a refurbished 95 Vortex in .22 from Airgunpro and that gun is a firecracker, I put a UTG 4X AO on it and I love it, same scope I have on my little Vortex edge that I can't stop talking about. If I saw another refurbish gun at a killer price, I would not hesitate ....

After posting this, I'm going to go to Airgunpro to see what sales they have  ;- )

Yep, I feel your pain, my left arm is getting a workout for sure. These guns sure have lots of power, and are almost out of the realm of just backyard plinker..these guns send ammo out at a good clip for sure.

Be sure that scope is on tight and the rings are against the stops in the back.

Glen, you got to learn to cock with both hands. The big magnums will kill you. I always shoot from a bench though. I have the butt against my thigh and start it down with my right hand an about 1/3 of the way reach around the gun and grab it with my left hand to finish with both. I was shooting my Hatsan Dominator carbine yesterday and I'm not sure I could cock it with one hand.

I finally got a chance today to spend some time with my Mod 95 .177 with a leapers/UTG 3x12 swat. I managed to get 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 30  yards from my bench and front bag rest. Was a bit frustrated yesterday at our fun shoot trying to zero it in with 10-15 MPH side winds. Put about 50 or 60 JSB 8.44's to get the goups to tighten up. Very happy with the $89 spent on it.

Amen to that. If I'm going to shoot my XL1100 for any length of time the butt goes on the deck, slap the barrel open with my right hand, use both hands to cock it, then load with my right while holding the barrel firmly with the left then bring it home. I CAN cock it single handedly but not for long and derive any enjoyment from shooting. By using this "old man" method I can plink & enjoy it for a long time.

I used 2 hands for most of it today/Sunday. It was one hand on Friday and mostly one on Saturday. I learned.
