I got to test my compressor today. It hit 2000psi and stopped pumping. I've got it disassembled and it had a blockage between the first and second stage. Don't know what it was but I released the air on the vent valve and took off the 90psi hose. So no air coming in and no air coming out. When I backed off the fitting of the tube on the first stage piston that runs down to the block feeding the second stage it was still under pressure.

I redesigned the back check valves. I made them a little larger and found some softer springs. I hit 3600psi before the pulley starts the slip. This pulley I got from Stock Drive Components doesn't have enough metal in the hub to tighten down the set screws to keep it from wanting to slip. I have a new all aluminum pulley on the way that should solve the problem. It should be here Thursday.

Why didn't you just cut a groove to the shaft and used a key?

There's not enough material in the pulley hub for a key. The shaft has 2 flats on it for the set screws.

Got my new gear in Saturday. I had to bore it out to .500". I also had to reduce the boss to clear a oring cover. I put a few lighten holes in it to.

The new pulley and check valves worked. I'm no longer dependent on the paintball store now.

I took it outside and have my Ninja bottle hooked to it getting filled. I reset the pressure switch to where it was when it shutoff at 1500 and working my way up.

I realize that this thread is from December, but some how I completely missed it.

Do you happen to have any blue prints or project plans for your build, heck I would be happy with some detailed pictures and discription.

What did you use for the the air lines between cylinder? Are they compression, flared, yor-lok?
