General bulk fill question

Just got a fill station and some 20 oz co2 tanks. I filled my discovery and after i bled everything and disconnected the co2 bottle, the bottle has a very slow leak. It is brand new

Is it normal for a co2 bottle to leak for awhile after it is disconnected or is there something wrong?

Having YEARS of shooting paintball & use of Co2,  NOPE leak down at valves fittings is not typical.
It CAN happen however if your filling is Co2 GAS and not Co2 liquid.
Loosely stated, if seals and connection FREEZE UP they get hard and brittle and if no cracks happen to the o-rings they may warm up and soften once more and seal normally.

If problem persists valves poppet seal ( Poly o-ring ) within the male ASA tank fitting needs to be replaced.
tank may be NEW TO YOU ... but it maybe old stock assembled who knows when
Sadly Poly o-rings do take a set and can be somewhat short lived.

Ok. Just went and checked it and it is still leaking. So dumb

Update: just filled my disco a second time. Co2 tank seems to be fine now. Can't hear anymore leaks

Brush on some soapy water ... bubbles = bad

Yeah did the soap thing. Still does have a leak. But it's better than it was

Did a little research on the paintball forums. They suggested tapping the pin valve with a hammer and punch/dowel because there might be some debris in there. Did that and now the leak is almost non-existent. It's still there but very very minor
