I have a MM tuned qb79 on hpa 1100psi.  shoots jsb's the best in this order.  gets about 90 shots??alot
jsb 14.3  758 fps  18.24 fpe
jsb 15.9  736 fps  19.12 fpe
jsb 18.1  705 fps  19.98 fpe
predator  728 fps  18.83 fpe
kodiak     672 fps  21.16 fpe
for comparison my disco shoots 14.3 cphp the best at 825 fps 21.61 fpe.
My ninja 13cc tank just screwed on the end of the 79.  before tune, on hpa it shot about 11 fpe on hpa.

So often the Kodiak comes up as a good pellet. That's a rounding error away from the best pellet in the Disco. I'm calling this near equivalency, what do you guys think?

Personally I know I need to snag some Kodiaks to test.

My MM 79 just got the standard tune NOT the power tune.
Ninja tank standard reg ~850 psi
35 shot string CPHP 14.3 Gr.
Temp. 48 F Humidity 33%
HI 667 fps 14.13 fpe
LOW 650 fps 13.42 fpe
Avg. 659 fps 13.79 fpe
Ex. Spread 17 fps
SD 3 fps

When I ordered it I ask Mike for ~625 fps with a 14.3 gr. He missed to the good 

In retrospect I should have got the full power tune and lowered the Reg. psi to achieve the fps I wanted.
I wanted to keep the 16 mile trip to the dive shop for $6.50 scuba refills down.
Afterwards I found out I could get free refills for a 3 mile trip to the fire station.
Now I am looking into getting a 1100 psi bottle or ordering shims and washers to adjust the Reg. in the bottle I have.
I am learning though. I will get the FULL power tune and back the pressure off if need be from now on. It increases versatility.

1100 psi shoots a lot faster than the 850 psi.  my ninja is adjastable.  I only shoot 1100psi.

It looks like the JSB's are going to have to get tried! If you want a bit more knockdown without loosing too much accuracy the RWS Super Hpoints have promise. I suspect that I'll be able to put them in the same hole at 15 yds with a bit of practice and fiddling (I'm thinking I have a tiny parallax problem as well as a rest problem). As much as I like those, I know that they're going to open up at distance.

I'm also wondering if I'm shooting as hot as I'm guessing I am, after looking at your numbers. OTOH, I'm not sure I care. Happy is happy. It's not a willy measuring contest with Disco owners!

I am at about the point of suggesting MM put an emblem on these guns after he tunes them. That, or sign them.

Mike provided me with the power I asked for and informed me of other options.
The accuracy is as good or better as I am. This is the only .22 I have that is operational so it ain't going anywhere. 
I have a 78 I got from C-List that is waiting on parts from Mike. A multi-pump and springer has been ordered. Dang that is 1 AG a month since I joined the board! When does this end?

i dont know if mike did a full power tune or not.  it was more accurate and powerful when it came back from mike.  it does shoot a lot faster on 1100 psi vs 850.  it does have a bolt probe.  i wish i knew how to post pics.  i have some 22yrd groups to show accuracy with different pellets.  jsb's all the way.  fng54 i think you will get what i am shooting simply by going to 1100 psi.

paperpunch1  sorry if i stole your post.  if you have a qb79 all you need to do to convert to hpa is get a ninja bottle.  I have a ninja pro shp regulator from 1100 to 950 psi.  ( The Bottle comes complete)  paint ball shop helped me out.  this bottle does not require me to remove barrell to put it on. just screw it in. in my opinion hpa  is far superior to co2.
