It is unfortunate this is happening for you guys in NY.
It's just like here, they do not sell anything like that, as it would require a valid P.A.L ( fire arms license) to purchase.
Although they do sell sub 500fps air rifles at walmart, detuned for the canadian market.

As for the choice in Caliber, for my PCP, I went for the 22 cal, as well. This was just preference, I figured it was cheaper then going with the quarter bore, and it had an adjustable power settings.

Gecoguy, I wear a size 18 ring so my hands are pretty big as well. Now my problem is Pyramyd is out of stock on the .22 cals and Walmart will not ship to NYS as all the large places like Cabelas and Bass Pro and such will not ship to NY state either. Hopefully Pyramyd will have them in by the end of the week. Shawn

I know they are out there but a lot of places will not ship to NY. I was gonna have one shipped to my daughter in SC but than I have to pay another $20 to ship here. PA has a great on-line coupon code and I ended up with the buy 3 get 1 tin free pellets and something like $45 off with the coupon code, again not in until Feb. 6th. The wait is gonna about kill me!!(LOL!) I am dying to shoot one of these. I am having a huge starling and pigeon problem right now, raiding my wifes birdfeeder, could be some good shooting. Right now using some CCI CB 22 shorts but accuracy is terrible but they are quiet. Thanks again, this site is pretty cool! Shawn

yeah shawn, i am in NY too and no one will ship here... But I gotta say that the CCi cb shorts (or .22 quiets) will give you accuracy out of a bolt gun better than a semi (which has to be cycled manually). I have used them for pest control, and will do of at 25 yards (1inch) the main problem is overpenetration... those rounds are still pushing 50 fpe so they are hitting and going right the pigeons... I also use a discovery in .22 but i have lowered the power to 700 fps with 14.3 gr pellets. With a lDC is ridiculously neighborhood friendly. I also use a Marauder in .22 set at the same speed... very quiety. At that speed the crosman prems will group great at 50 yards (3/4 inch easy). Enjoy the disco.

Pyramyd will ship, but they are saying Feb. 6th now. I pre-ordered but I was wondering if I could drive to Crosman where they make them and if they would sell me one. Does anyone know? I am gonna call them Monday and see what they say. I am buying the TKO for it, not sure what IDC means but I am sure it is a brake of some sort. Shawn

LDC= lead dust collector. because lead is bad for you. especially your ears. and your neighbors. As per going to crosman... nope. you can't buy from the factory. So get yourself a snow shovel and pass the time... february 6 is not that far...
