Crosman 180 hammer dis-assembly

I want to replace the hammer spring in my old 180, as it is distorted, and drags on the tube wall something fierce. I got the gun stripped down and the hammer assembly removed, but I am left scratching my head as to how the heck this thing comes apart. Can anyone help with a description of how to dis-assemble the hammer setup? I tried to find something on line, but they all conveniently skip right past the hammer once they have removed from the gun. Perhaps that's an omen!

I remember seeing here someone who took it apart, just can't seem to find the thread. IIRC, the spring assembly is peened together, so it's not a straightforward process, but it's doable. HTH.

Thanks for that link to the 2020 thread, there are some solutions there. It may be more trouble than it is worth, but I sure want to replace the spring. I will have a look at the assembly again to see if I can use the methods show in the older thread.
cheers
