Preferred fill method for you

 There is a plastic piece in front of the hammer that is held in with a small screw, I had that come loose on my 702-3 and it gave me lower velocities and non fires. Will see if I can find a parts break down.
 Also needing to pull the bolt back further to load a mag is common with many mag fed PCPs.

That is exactly the screw that had come loose! But I gotta say; that screw should be longer. There is only about a thread, and a half that presents past the plastic piece. Not much engagement. I double checked to see if it had broken, but nope. It’s just that short. I’m assuming the o ring I found floating in there came from that screw as well? I replaced it. Now I just have to gas it back up to see if I fixed the problem. But alas my fill probe o ring was damaged as well… Strange that all these things happened at the same time. I definitely degassed the compressor before removing the probe, so I don’t know what happened there…
