I'm a big guy at 6'1 250lbs. Hand pumping to 3000 psi is a piece of cake to me. I'll probably get a compressor one day, but I don't really see a need yet.

Heck yeah same here. Being a big dude helps definitely with hand pumping I agree. I have a Nomad 2 which helps a lot. Other night I degassed my Gauntlet to do some trigger adjustment took 5 minutes with the compressor from 0. I would’ve definitely sweated my butt off at midnight trying to pump 200 plus strokes. But for topping off most of the time I hand pump it’s more convenient then setting up the compressor and making noise even though the Nomad isn’t that loud.

I helps that every pcp I own is hand pump friendly and most of them hit their sweet spot somewhere below 3000 psi too.
I will say that I like the thought of a TalonP in .25 and I'll probably end up with one at some point.

Yes I agree on having guns that have sweet spots helps with hand pumping. I have a talon P .25 and the sweet spot on PW5 is 2300-1700. Gets 49 foot pounds and 11 shots in the sweet spot with JSB MK2 34 grain pellets.  I can ride the curve backyard shooting I get about 30 shots with not much noticeable change in POI. Get the carbine with the moderator and stock because even with the mod it’s still kinda barky(that’s probably not a word). I have a giant moderator on order from DFL that I’m going to swap between the Talon P and the Condor. I also have a very tame Talon Ss .22 which is a joy to shoot. Gets who knows how many shots on pw4 shooting in my backyard and produces about 18 foot pounds. Get one you’ll be very impressed. Talon P is super easy hand pumping keeping it in the sweet spot. Slightly more work 1500-3000
But not too bad. I actually hand pumped the initial fill and it was like 200 some
Odd strokes.

I did have the rifle characterized with the standard top hat, but I now have a Talon Tunes top 🎩 hat installed so I'm sure that it will be more power.
I must start from scratch to characterize the current setup.
