Today I ran the Daystate LC-100 compressor on a Honda EU3000 generator. The LC-1000 has a 14.5 amp motor. It Worked Fine.I'll test it on an EU2000 when I get a chance to bring one back from storage.
Well, my electrical rate nets out to $0.154 per KW hour, and I have calculated that a fill from 3000 psi to 4500 psi costs about 6 cents with my Guppy, and about 18 cents into my 45 minute tank. No dive shop can compete with that . . . .My compressor is a Shoebox, and I keep my shop compressor that feeds it full and aired up in my garage as it is used for lots of things. That cost considers the electricity to run both the shop compressor and the Shoebox, and the fan that cools the Shoebox. You can scale as you see fit off the electrical rate, and other compressors may be more or less efficient (most likely less, due to the slow but steady nature of the Shoebox wasting less energy in heat).
Dangit...I'm supposed to streamline the goodies. Lol!

Well, the generator is not airgun equipment, it is needed for emergencies, family camping, etc.
