Max power valve / build for .25 Armada / Marauder ? ? ?

I only shoot at 30yards on paper (backyard limited) and the Eujins out perform every slug I put through the stock barrel at speeds of 800fps to 985fps.

Every slug ( 45+grain) I put in the stock barrel was a bear to push the bolt closed to send the slug home unless I sized to .249".

His slugs are .2495 so if you dont have a proper leade cut they will go in easier. I have tooling for .2495 coming for those with tighter barrels.

I spoke with Joe today,  he's back onto this project.

 He's taken his Armada apart now, and getting his feet wet. He's been reading everything he can, and is going to do some modding to his factory valve first. This will be his first full teardown ! Yay JOE !   

 He wants to go thru the steps of experimentation,  to learn more about tinkering/tuning/porting,factory valve boring,machining, and to better understand how it all works together.
 I'm happy and proud that he is jumping "all in". Then after the new chrony numbers/pressure readings/shot strings are in, he'll go the next step,and decide which aftermarket valve he's going with.

No better way to learn, than getting your hands dirty !   

BTW,
 We talked about it, and we are lowering the overly lofty goals a little bit.
Now he is looking for it to be a "Beast of a Bunny Buster"      at 125-150 yds,
 and Maybe a "Coyote capable" gun at 75-100 yds.
Basically that will all depend on how well it ends up grouping.

 Still hoping to get enough power out of it to push Nicks slugs, with a decent ES for one full magazine.
  I think t will be fun to see the progressive "Evolution" with the comparative shot strings.

So if any of the experienced members here would be so kind (?), to make some suggestions on the more popular and effective mods to hop up the factory valve first, ... then this project will go next build level of aftermarket valves/hammers/ etc. afterwards.
