Crosman trigger - another go at it

Made a simple mod on mine. This will make your trigger a single stage with no slack/take-up. Before you cock your bolt, put a piece of paper (fold it to make it thicker until you get the desired thickness) between the trigger and the frame and you will know what I mean. The paper acts as a tensioner, btw. You could also put a cloth in lieu of a paper for simulation. You would notice that without a tensioner, your trigger blade would bob up and down in cocked mode, right?



This small dome-shape rubber is from a disposable lighter. Just sand it to get to your desired thickness. I just glued it there.

Btw, I also installed a small o-ring around the trigger "tongue" to negate that glued disposable lighter gasket. Been smashing disposable lighters (careful because they pop when you crush them, so wrap it with a thick towel before you smash them with your hammer) but the lighters in the US do not seem to have gaskets and o-rings unlike those marketed in the Philippines.

Just try the simple o-ring mod because it will delete the trigger slop and act as a tensioner. Your may have to nudge the the trigger upwards when you cock your pistol for the sear and hammer to engage but this depends on the thickness of your o-ring. You could 3 pieces if you like. Right now, the o-ring I am using is quite loose but it still sticks fine. Will purchase proper ones tomorrow 

Anyway, whatever o-rings you have just try and wound it around the aforesaid tongue and you will notice the difference. I was contemplating the set screw mod but it is tricky and this works just about the same, lol!

Really like the way my trigger is behaving right now. No slack and it is a pure single stage with no creep nor sear to hammer drag
