H&N Grizzly bullets?

William, both Unrepented and I use rubber abrasives. I ordered mine from brownells gun smithing supply. It is about the right size out of the box. I use a corse dressing stone, and put it on the Fordum, (Industrial type dremel) and turn it to shape.

Just go slow, and use a fresh bullet each time you check it. You want the bullet to seat like the cork in a bottle. Seating snug when it comes to rest.

I am getting .80 inch groups at 100 yards with the grizzly's in .25 cal. Shooting from an AirForce Condor .25 RL Shroud, RL extreme valve,heavy hammer and spring. Hard hitting and super accurate for me. Velocity is 1080 with my power wheel on 1.3. I also did some testing with them shooting clay at 20 yards. They mushroom just like a hollow point bullet.

Look how the rifling pushed up the lead when stopping in the middle.

It is so surprising to me that so many these manufacturers just don't take leade into consideration.  I've said it before, all the engineering dept has to do, is get on this forum and read.  There product improvement would be stellar and as cheap as it gets.

BG, the other big problem is i'm sure that they only make these gun COMPLETELY for pellets.  Pellets have little bearing surface and it takes minimal tension to push one inside a barrel.  Hence these shallowly polished lead in.

Yea, I know... I just seems like they aren't quite in tune with what's going on.  It wouldn't hurt to have the same kind of leade in a pellet shooter would it?  I know that my .25 Marauder has darn near square edges at the beginning of the lans.  They're like tiny little broaches.  It shoot really well but I think it may cause an occasional flyer.
