Your rifle may not be especially pellet fussy. Crosman Premiers in the tin and RWS Superdomes often don't shoot well. Try JSB or H&N FTT pellets. They come in different head sizes, and head size matters.

I've tried a decent amount of pellets so far.http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=82317.0H&N Barracuda 19.09H&N Field Target 16.36H&N Terminator 16.36RWS Superdome Field Line 14.5Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum 14.3 JSB Exact Jumbo Diablo 15.89JSB Match Jumbo Diablo 13.73JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13I'll probably order a sampler pack from Straight Shooters here shortly. And if they aren't in the pack I'll specifically order some tins of varying head sizes of the same pellet. I have to admit I didn't understand that at first. But ultimately I really think my hold and shooting style need quite a bit of polish. This whole magnum springer thing is gonna take some time to figure out........
Is this saying that the ones in the box are the ones to get?
Quote from: DTHN2LGS on January 28, 2015, 08:52:09 PMIs this saying that the ones in the box are the ones to get?Yes, the ones in the box are more consistent pellet to pellet in size and weight. (Of course this does not mean that they will shoot best in your gun.)One more thought regarding the OP: I know that a lot of HW's in .22 sold in Canada recently tended to favor the larger head size of H&N FTT 5.54 or 5.55mm. I had an HW97 that would shoot 5.55 best and an HW95 that favored 5.54, with similar reports by other shooters of recent HW's .22 in Canada.
