I put about 200 JSB 10.3s through my R1 on Saturday in the woods at distances between 25 and 75 yards. Very enjoyable. I was impressed with the accuracy off a rest or a bipod.

Mine shoots 897 with AA 10.3.  Exceptional accuracy, and the best offhand balance and manners in my herd.   

I'm always looking for something better.

Mine's only that fast with lighter pellets.it is shooting Wal-Mart sold 500 tin Crosman HP pellets about as good as more expensive ones.I went back and bought 20 more tins just in case it was only that particular lot.the guns a little long gir my short arms offhand though.kneeling its perfect.I may cut the stock and add an as adjustable but plate some day.

I usually shoot the crossman premier lites. I get 880fps out of those. I just bought 1000 of the heavies. I am hoping for good results from them.
Cant wait to see what the 25 yard zero difference is.

that's the speed I'm getting too. I've got some of the heavyweights but  haven't tried them yet because the cheap pellets  are doing so darn well.

They are the same price as the lights are. As a matter of fact, 177 light, 177 heavy, and .22 are all the same price.

I know some guys turn their nose up at it anything not JSB.but If an airgun wont shoot  cheap Crosman pellet in stock at Walmart resonably well I'm not happy.I have sold airguns  and powder burners the refused to shoot inexpensive bullets.I think often people don't give a cheaper pellet  as much of a chance as ecpensive  German ones.in don't expect one hole groups but often they surprise me.

Absolutely. I understand that the ammo has a limitation. I also understand that i as a shooter dont exceed or even match that limitation.
If it will explode paintballs at 20yds, its good enuf fer me. All my distance shooting is on 4 inch steel or gatorade bottles.
Im easy to please.
What ever it does, i just expect repeatable consistency. I can work WITH the rest.
