My R1 carbine in .177 is still relatively new to me. Only 400-500 shots or so thus far.Built like a tank, powerful and quite accurate. But best suited for hunting, not target shooting or plinking IMHO. I de-tuned mine a bit to shoot at about 15fpe with H&N FTT 8.64s. Easier to shoot accurately, but still loud.Next time for my R1 is a quality leather sling.R
