Are you sure the action is seated properly in the stock?  I just ask because Idid a tune on my Quest (and golden trigger), when I put the action back in the stock I noticed it wasn't quite right. It was not down all the way in the back.

I'm in a much better mood now. I just shot a 12 shot group from 30 yards and can cover 9 with a quarter in the bullseye and of  the other 3, 2 of them are less than a half inch out and 1 is about a inch out. The only thing I did different was to move from one shooting bench to another. Go figure!

Doesn't surprise me a bit. I have to pull tmy XL back into my shoulder firmly. If I back off even slightly on that pressure the groups will move left about an inch at 30 yards. Back off even more, the groups move further left and open up to double their size. All without changing my position at the bench.

Glad to hear your making progress. You might find that slight changes in hold, and using heavier pellets will reduce the size of those groups even more. Then, hopefully even tighter as the gun wears in.
