Need help choosing a rifle?

Yes the titan appeals to me because of the NP . I would really want the rs2 but i need to leave the gun cocked for long periods of time as I wait for starlings to land at  my bait station . Thats is why I mostly want the Titan. If it wasnt for that the rs2 would have been with me some time ago

I would go with the Titan from Walmart, heak use the 4x scope that comes with it until you save up for a 3x9 and a good set of rings or a one piece mount. Mine shot so good right out of the plastic ha that the only thing ive done to it is put a charlie the tuna trigger in it. And that increased the accuracy even more. I mounted a Tasco or Weaver 3x9 32mm scope and put her in the safe. The guys on here that own the RS-2 speak highly of them also.

There was a mention on this thread and I've read the same thing on others that people "don't know how to shoot" a spring air rifle. So how do you shoot one?

To shoot one accurately you have to master the altillery hold and find the pellet the rifle likes.
What do yall think about the gamo hornet?

maybe you can have your folks buy a prepaid credit card gift card kinda thing so you can order off the internet. If so that opens a lot of new choices. you might look into the hatsan 95 149. from richard at aiscopes.

THe hornet is overpowered.  Shoots the heavy pellets accurately, but normal and PBA stuff it just scatters.  It's also a plastic gun.  I don't like it.

At about how many grains does it shoot accurately? I like plastic composite, easier to take care of than wood
