What caliber brush are you using?

I stay away from brushes and any hard type metals. The barrel composition is a soft metal. I use break free in small amounts. Yes I know others will tell you not to use this. On the barrel in small amounts the on damage wcould been done is the breach seal. I us the tube that comes with it so it all goes down the barrel. There is the JB paste that works good as well. Too much of a chance to damage the lands with a bursh, JIMO.

i used a .22 brush and just made sure to use it properly... i did the same thing with my air hawk and it shoots just as straight - stupid accurate.  i called both companies.  crosman said i was ok to use the brass brush on the npss.  umarex said not to use the brass brush but i did anyway.  so far, no regrets.
