Is FX Airguns really that bad?

All I can say is I got 10 years without any issues on these three converted air rifles...the Dominator HPA .22 just blew an o-ring a week ago.
Top= .177 CO2
Middle = HPA .177 regulated'
Bottom= Dominator HPA .22 regulated

Always wanted an FX for years but cost kept me out of that mix.

Those three rifles you have look very inviting to shoot.  I went for a used FX along with used barrels and liners, which saved me a lot, but doesn't feel like it, Lol.   They are well built enough for not too much of a gamble doing that, or I got real lucky.  I can say I am having a little bit more fun with the Impact compared to my Marauders, but not by a whole lot.  Just a little more power, accuracy and consistency than those with more shots between refills mainly.

I think the Dominator failed because I did not shoot it near as much as the other two. (But 10 years trouble free is pretty good reliability in my book). I also have two Sheridan pumpers that are going strong.
Back when I had my eye on the FX Monsoon but have not heard how that rifle held up.

As a real newbie that has never taken an Airgun apart I will just share this.  Bought an FX 400 Royale in 22 caliber, mounted a scope and shot it.  I just opened my second tin of 500 pellets.  Yesterday I took it down the the lake were neighbors are camping this weekend.  10 different people shot it including 3 kids under 12 years old.  ALL without exception hit a golf ball at 100 yards.  It took some folks several “close” shots but they hit one.  One 8 year old girl who had never shot a gun hit the golf ball first shot.  All off a bench with sandbags, but the gun shoots!  I have nothing bad to say about FX’s and the neighbor guy instantly got on his computer and ordered one.

  The Royale is rightfully considered one of the best platforms that FX has produced.
