Hi Randall !Wow...Outstandingly Nice Rifle You Have !That's what I call a ..."Rapid & Lethal Rat Take Down"Bloody good job.Best Wishes - Tom
Great shooting Randall! Your Rapid looks lethal and it proved it with the 2 Rattus. That's a huge moderator/shroud too. I bet it's very effective. What's the Rapid detuned to?

I would love to pop a few with one of the rifles.WildCJ, thank you so much! Got it from eBay....XSHCAM, about 35 bucks, it uses 18650 rechargeable batteries and uses WiFi. I have it set up about 2-3 feet from ratttus baiting area, takes a video and sends a push notification to your phone, you can also watch a live feed, has infrared camera.

Since your setup ACTUALLY WORKS I'd like to copy you. I already have six of the 18650 battery but in the longer form factor. Is the push notification an email or text, I assume? Is it quick to send it once motion has been detected?Thank You Sir

You might need to re-download the software a second time if the push notifications aren’t working.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Door-Bell-Wifi-Doorbells-Two-way-Intercom-Camera-166-Wide-Angle-Cam/124259125894?hash=item1cee6bca86:g:HtIAAOSwb6hfDMvs
Thank you! I killed a few ground squirrels but I haven't killed any of those nasty gray rats in a long time and I really love hearing a pellet hit their head

I will be ordering one. If you don’t mind post up a picture, I would love some ideas on how to set up the camera and bait station.
Thanks Ranchibi, that bait station is a fantastic idea and will be copied in some fashion. The doorbell is even better.
Quote from: only1harry on July 14, 2020, 10:55:29 PMGreat shooting Randall! Your Rapid looks lethal and it proved it with the 2 Rattus. That's a huge moderator/shroud too. I bet it's very effective. What's the Rapid detuned to?Harry!!! Thank you very much! It is so much better than me it’s not funny! LOL! It is a very large moderator, I think it is a semi reflex but very light as it’s made from real carbon fiber as is the outer barrel sleeve epoxied to barrel for rigidity, barrel has zero flex. Purchased it from Ken @ SPAW and had him detune it from a 50ft/lb gun with 25gr JSB to a 37ft/lb with 18gr going 950ish. It shoots slugs really really well too, NSA 17gr @ 930ish no POI shift same as pellets. Wanted a lower tune to get more shots and to sling lighter ammo that is more cost effective. Even the lighter slugs will have a better BC than heavier pellets down range. Getting close to 80 shots from a 230 bar fill down to 150, quite efficient. Very quiet too. The non choked poly barrel is not picky at all. Built like a tank, trigger is 8oz. It’s double probe is a thing of beauty...outer bullet shape seats ammo flush then the inner probe seats it deeper with no o’ring! Adjustable/customizable just like any AR platform. HS adjustable from side or after removing back stock with one set screw just like a Taipan.

My fully-tuned Diana 36 .177 has a 7-8 oz. hair trigger! I ended up discharging it by accident a couple of times. Be very careful with that light trigger!! I got a little hole in 1 of the blinds to prove it Luckily the window was opened as I was getting into position to target Starlings and crow in the winter of '08-09.
Great way to blood your Rapid with a double on rats... good shooting Randall.
Hi Randall. You and your fellow rat hunters are defiantly ....A RAT's Worst Nightmare. You folks have some Real Serious Hunting Equipment Too ! I'm impressed. Wack em & Stack em ! Best Wishes - Tom
