Chris, very nice build and group! When I added the Rocker1 extended baffled shroud my .22 P-Rod went from 650fps with JSB RS 13gr to 690 FYI.

Fascinating. I wonder why that was.

It’s like making the barrel longer as the shroud added about 5” with baffles as I understand it.

Maybe you got one of Rocker1's Turbo shroud extensions. Just kidding. If your gun is regulated then your velocity jump is more valid than an unregulated Prod. Interesting to say the least.

It is unregged but only1harry and I found this to be true for whatever reason which I like! 🤓

Randall sir, could be a "funnel" effect of some sort that is why there is an increase in velocity.

It is like a water pipe with a smaller ID at the end (larger ID going to smaller ID).

This concept propels the liquid in a more concentrated propulsion.

Works also in blowguns as the air from your mouth's blast compresses the air, thereby increasing the air pressure that propels the dart as it leaves the muzzle end.

Richard, thank you for your genius insight! Maybe that is the case for my P-rod with extended shroud and baffles! I was at my friends shooting range shooting at 70yds with the P-rod and only had to use one mildot holdover at 4000ft elevation though. I do like blow guns even though I’ve never acquired one! One day 🤓👍.

No wonder I’ve never acquired one! LOL! I do luv the P-rod...but shooting the Raptor is unlike any other PCP I’ve had the pleasure to shoot, so quiet yet so powerful 🤓👍🙏 and built oh so solidly.
