"High End" gun longevity?

I still held about 1800 psi. I shot three more hand pumped sessions worth.
Three different pellets with and without the screw on moderator.
Man this is one awesome airgun.

Really? I thought stamps were for putting on envelopes containing money orders to pay for more air guns.

OK, I know "High End" is subjective so I will try to be more explicit.
The majority of my Airguns cost $200 or less. But my jewel on the crown is my AA S400 SL FAC that I bought from Don here on GTA. A little research found it has had 4 owners who obviously took GREAT care of it. This is, to most, the most valuable airgun I have. 3X more.
I try to shoot all my guns on a regular basis, all but a few. Those "few" are my Collector quality like new Sheridan Streak,  Sheridan Model F... and my AA S400.
 The S400 is so darn nice, it gets it own hard case so as not to even get "safe damage" from bumping into other guns.
So my question is...
 Is it better to preserve this gun for special occasions and risk things getting hard maybe set in place, or to shoot it regularly and keep everything moving but potentially wear out or break?
 I do store it with a 1/2 charge (under 2000 but more than 1000 psi) and wiped down. It so far holds that charge indefinitely. She is just so jaw dropping beautiful and accurate, I hate to hurt it... one way or the other.

I own several high end air rifles and they all get shot, a lot!

Bought early 2014:  FX Independence .22 - approximately 35,000 rounds
Bought late 2014:  FX Royale .22 - approximately 34,000 rounds
Bought mid 2016:  FX Boss .30 - Just went over 10,000 rounds
Bought mid 2016:  Benjamin Marauder .25 - Approximately 12,000 rounds
Bought early 2017:  Daystate Air Wolf MCT - Went over 38,000 rounds at a FT shoot this past weekend
Bought May 1, 2018:  EdGun Leshiy .22 & .25 barrels - 2,300 rounds total as of today

Maintenance to date on all of these rifles has been VERY minimal.

I say, shoot your rifles and not worry about it.

I sometimes enjoy watching the Barrett Jackson auto auction. I see some really old cars with less than 1000 miles on them. All I can say is... it wouldn't do me to be rich because I'd buy several and drive the snot out of them.

Zactly . Over the years I have owned several quality PB's cars and whatever I always purchased things with the intention of using them not what the future value might be if I kept it pristine. Like bill if I had the money to purchase any high end collectible auto when I was finished with it it would be just another used car
