So as a follow up on the first bulk fill gun the Sheridan Model F with a MAc1 adapter...my combination was a fail.
The Ninja HPA Fill Station I had been using for HPA charges on the Maxis was a FAIL on seating the shorter CO2 bottle valve. It spewed CO2 everywhere while attempting to fill. Apparently their probe opens the reg pin before the fill station is seated.
but I got a little liquid in the gun.
The Mac1 adapter shortly leaked it out, hissing at the set screw so I knew it was the o-ring.
I contacted Timmy Mac had he told me the o-ring GROOVE is tapered so I needed to STRETCH the o-ring, pack it with Dielectric grease and then hit it with a full burst of CO2 to walk the o-ring up the shoulder to seat it. Maybe even hit the tube with a hot hair drier to assist the process.
Nice to know.
So Take two. I got a CO2 tether and again filled the bottle.
Then I removed the adapter and removed the "mil-spec O-ring" and stretched it out on my thumb knuckle. Added the food grade siligon grease, re-assembled everything and hit it with a full open CO2 charge for a short burst.. ... Hissssssss still leaking past Timmy Macs adapter.
GRRRRRR.
So I put the gun in the sun, left it there for a couple of hours until the tube actually felt warm to the touch. (120 degrees?)
Hit it with another charge of LIQUID CO2 by again holding the bottle up side down.
SUCCESS! 20 shots yesterday and she is STILL holding a charge 24 hours later!
