I haven't seen any results from the 25 cal yet. I might have missed something in the multiple benji Kralsman threads. Anyone with a 25 to chime in?
-
Troy I went over to the Crosman site and they were listing the Kratos in .22 but I didn't see any in .25?

I just checked and if you sort by powerplant under air rifles it's the first gun listed and shows in stock.

Hmmm, you're right it came up. Did not for me the first though, weird. Wonder why nobody (that we know of on GTA anyway) is buying them?

I know the kral version is safe to 3626psi with a bottle swap. If the Kralsman is the same I know that gun is good for 60 shots at over 60fpe. I'd love to put a 580cc CF bottle on one and a tensioned barrel. Might be an upcoming project.

60x60 WooHoo! Look forward to it.

Okay I can clearly see what’s really happening here is a worthy attempt at enabling... lucky for me I’ve been practicing so I’m nearly immune at this point ha! ;D
-
Troy, do you know if a 480 cc carbon fiber will fit the bottle version ?

It should. The stock might need a little sanding on the inside to allow for the larger neck just like on the Jumbo and Pro500.

Dave do you happen to know the size of the air tube on the Cayden ??? It seems like I seen somewhere it was 300cc but I don't know for sure.

I was told it's 280cc on both the Cayden and Akela.

Trying to figure out why Crosman says the Cayden and the Akela both get the same amount of shots per fill as the Kratos, which has nearly double the air capacity? ???
-
The Kratos will get a lot more shots than the 60 Crosman lists. My Akela gets 60 and even more on lower power.

Yep, according to the specs listed on Pyramyd’s site both use a 280cc tube. 👍🏻

Shot count... Wayne says he’s getting over 150 shots per fill out of his .22 on low power for reference!
I still wanna know how many shots you can milk off the bottle at low power 👀
I’m curious to find out what kind of shot count you get ;)
Ready for this... Better sit down.
3000psi initial fill. Brought out the Caldwell chrono and a few tins of pellets.
Not going for accuracy but shot count before POI dropped off. Just wanted lead... CPHP 14.3, some "beat up" JSB Jumbo Express 14.3, and H&N Sports...
I set up a bull at 10 meters just for a consistent POA... And to tell when POI dropped.
CPHP had it normal shot gun patter but the other two were one big hole.
CPHP ..132 SHOTS BEFORE FALLING OFF AT 2100 psi. So I then switched back to H&N Sports at the end and got another 2 mags ONE HOLE SHOTS... I gave up at 156 shots down to 2000 psi.
On low setting I can milk out 156 !!!!

Dave I don't recall saying that cause I've never done a shot string with light pellets, the lightest I have are my 16.5 grain wad cutters and when I did shoot a clip of those it didn't appear that the pressure gauged moved at all. That wasn't on the lowest power either cause at the lowest power they chronied at about 550 fps so I turned it up a little to get in the mid 600fps with them but I know that I don't have enough of them cast right now to be able to do a complete chronograph string with them.

Sorry Wayne! That quote was from Hoosier‘s thread!
Where’s the face-palm smiley? 🤪
