The Diana 350 and 460 represent great values at $399 at AOA .

Yea I've noticed that unlike HW, Diana has not changed any of their prices during the past year or 2. Kinda of interesting.

Unfortunately, Denby .... Diana has had a hard time selling gun vs. Weihrauch. 
I also think AOA is using their Business Clout (longtime Weihrauch Distributor) to complain that Krale was undercutting their sales in the USA .

I had meant to remark that Krale's savings seem to have significantly diminished, I had wondered if that was due to the EU suffering higher inflation than the U.S.. Used to be able to save 100-150 a gun compared to AoA. Now for some models, they're near even in cost after shipping charges. Then again Krale will still get a gun to my door in 2 days from the Netherlands compared to AoA taking a week+ and Krale's customer service is far more responsive. So its still Krale for me.

Yes, I haven't check the exchange rate recently.
However, I'd buy from Krale too ........ but don't need more airguns.  I've already tried them all ....... except FWB Sport, FWB300, FWB124 and HW55.

When you factor in Holland's inflation (27%) since 2016, the current prices aren't much higher .

I see that Krale has some HW’s in stock. I have been told AoA will be getting a shipment in this next month.

It's pretty amazing that after all these years, Weihrauch still can't keep up with the demand for their air rifles .

This is most often said by PCP enthusiasts who are battling for the last 1/8" of accuracy at 100 yards .

- However, many of them go back and try Springers and realize IT'S about a different kind of challenge ...... and Simplicity .

This.  PCP rifles are great for specific tasks but are a bit of a PITA and so “antiseptic” so to speak.  The tool does the vast amount of the work and while that can bring its own joy or usefulness it lacks in visceral “feeling”. Springers are the manual transmissions of the shooting world. You either “get it” or you don’t. Doesn’t make you right or wrong either way.

I've been following this discussion with some interest, even to the point of checking AoA and Krale to see if there is some new special edition of the HWs we already have and a special edition of what we already have is what it would take to tempt me. I'm also glad we have what we have in our break barrel springers. Still my favorite after all these years.

As for the never ending PCP versus springer discussion, we have some very high end PCPs and all the support equipment to shoot them all we want, so why do these fine PCP air rifles tend to collect dust? If you are wondering, go back and read my first paragraph.

FWIW, Krale's Weihrauch prices went through the roof within the EU, at the same time as they did for the USians. So the price hike has nothing to do with US vendors' deals vs. Krale deals with Weihrauch.

A HW95L fetches 520 e at Krale these days, which is simply ridiculous, for a basic breakbarrel with finish-it-yourself qualities and a crapshoot barrel in .22 cal.

Have a used P1/HW45 scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The r7 is too small for me, but Brooke does well with it. Maybe we'll do a Weirauch rifle vs pistol plinking session in the basement.

Years ago, before Krale, the US vendors were raping us on prices anyway, 10+ years ago a HW95 sold new for around $450, those prices dropped down to just around $325 for a new 95 around 2014, then slowly climbed up again, I guess that's livin in the new world with an old soul!

If I live long enough for the cycle to begin again and catch the low prices, I'll probably buy a .177 HW50. I have a hunch it's the perfect Weirauch for me.

Yeah, US distributors were likely making some very nice profits on imported (Weihrauch) guns until Krale came along in 2015/2016 and let us know their true cost.
Holland has experienced 27% inflation since 2016, most of it coming in the last few year, hence Krale prices are up.  At the same time AOA has kept prices pretty stable on springers over the last few year even though we've had our share of inflation.

So now we need Holland to have deflation for a couple years along with the US dollar gaining on the Euro, then the good old days could be back again .

Fortunately, I bought the bulk of my Weihrauch's back in 2016/2017 and my .20 caliber Beeman R9 from Straight Shooters in 2020 for $399 w/no tax or shipping ....

We'll see how the EU situation shakes out along with oil prices over the coming years. While the world may also be watching, we here will be Weirauch watching in particular.

You might consider the HW57. A bit more power and very well balanced. I know some folks run down the 57, but after some work on it,….like every other Weihrauch spring I own,…my HW57
continues to prove its place in my collection and brings a feeling of proud ownership and a very positive shooting experience for me. Krale has the .22 model in stock.
