Another very CHEAP target build!!

 Was getting ready to throw away a pair of old windshield wiper arms,when the light bulb went on again in my head!

Ahhh....a man with the same thought process as me!

I have a few of those Gamo knockdown field targets for my 50 yd range, but thinking that your cool set up would work splendid (not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper ) for the 120 yd range I'm currently constructing (target every 10 yds from 50 - 120 yrds). No strings to pull after every shot to reset target -  just load, shoot, repeat...I love it!

Time for a trip to the salvage yard and shamelessly borrow this great idea! I assume the spring in the arm is more than sufficient to auto reset the target, correct?

These particular arms came off a Saturn vehicle. The original springs are way too strong for air rifle use and their design locks the arms back when they pivot. 
I found a pack of weaker springs and had to use various lengths to get the tension just strong enough for the arm to spring back.
It works fine at 30 yds. with a magnum power springer.  However, my Co2 lever rifle didn't have the power to knock the target back.
You will have to tune the tension to work with your gun.
You want a slow return so you can see the arm go down and come back.

Oh oh another flash.... Suppose we have both arms moving back and forth on the complete wiper drive assembly!!!!
Somebody in GTA land will try it!  Moving poppers
