Trigger help on Benjamin Trail NP
«

Hello, my name is Don and I'm from PA. I made the mistake of taking the wrong pin out of the trigger assembly. It is the pin that attatches the spring to the safety trigger. Now the gun won't cock. Where can I see a schematic of the inside of the trigger assembly pack or how to I re-attach the springs on the inside to get the gun to cock?
I have looked at similar posts but wasn't able to locate the directions or photos of my problem.

Well, I finally got the gun to shoot. Thanks to CharlieDaTuna. Even though the diagrams were for a GAMO, they were similar in design. The Benjamin parts and spring assemblies are shaped different. But the diagrams did give me a better idea of how my trigger assembly is put together. The worst part of the whole reassembly is the strut and strut spring. It took me hours to get these two pieces put back in. Now it cocks and fires like it used to.
The good part of all this is, I have a good understanding of the trigger function, so if anything happens, I can confidently work on,and fix the issue. Thanks again Charlie.

Well guys, I did the same thing and took out the safety pin.
Can someone please help, I have spent a few hours but can't get it back together.
Well, when I get it back together the gun won't cock. Someone needs to make a youtube video for dumb guys like me.
Thanks for any help. Feel free to email me also.

Got er done. Used the pictures Charlie da Tuna sent and was able to see exactly where the intermediate lever spring went. Took less than 10 minutes to get it shooting again.
Thanks again for the help.

EDIT: I think the answers are in this thread, but I'm not finding them... still need help, please. :-/ newbielink:http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=19718.0

Add me to the list. How can we not have this online? Crosman only gives the whole gun diagram, but not the trigger pack. AAARGH! :-P
I understand that the trigger spring is supposed to come out, but not the bigger spring that pops out of *somewhere* when the safety pin is pulled out by mistake. Where the !@#$ does that spring go?
CDT, or any of y'all who have it, could I get that info please?

Thanks BillK! I'm not quite sure how to follow that upside down and with the main sear still in place, but it's at least a help. Maybe after I mull on it a while, I'll see how to get the Inermediate Lever back in place, where its spring is supposed to go, and then I can get back to the trigger. Lesson of the day: read TWICE, remove ONCE. :-P

Woot! I think I got the Intermediate Lever and Spring back where they belong. I *think* that the long arm of the Spring just sits on top (bottom by the pictures, but I'm working with the trigger facing up) of the pin that holds the Sear. Both Intermediate Lever and Spring have to go in loose, so they can fit in under the little screw (trigger adjustment screw?), then I inserted the safety lever and pin through all three pieces. THEN, I took needle nose pliers and as gently as I could, pulled the hook of the Spring back around and over the back of the Intermediate Lever, while holding the Intermediate Lever as far forward as possible with a flathead screwdriver (so as not to stretch the poor Spring any farther than necessary). It seems to be working. Now to test the actual firing, and then I can go back to Step One of replacing the trigger, which is what this was all about. But, *(&^, I learned a bit more about how the trigger/sear mechanism actually works and what the parts really look like. It is not quite as simple as the drawings online. ;-)
Thanks for this forum and for all the help, y'all!
