Was wondering if anyone owns one and can tell me about the quality and any mods that may help increase the shoot ability. I saw them for sale at dcpi for $42.00 and am considering buying one to give me some practice tuning an underlever rifle. Thanks for any input.

From what I can glean from the internet it appears to be the venerable Chinese B3. It's a pretty common entry lever under lever. I believe they originally had a leather piston seal. I do not know about the current version.

Thanks for sharing those pics of yours.Seems to be real accurate, I hope yours isn't one in a hundred. I'm going to go ahead and pick one up.I didn't realize they are a b-3 until Roadworthy mentioned it.
I've seen many tips and guides on this and other forums on how to tweak them.I'm looking forward to tearing into it.

It's a B3-3 with better stock and full length cocking handle. There is no anti-bear trap on these, so you must hold the handle while loading.

I added a Williams Peep sight to the rear and cleaned up the action. I also removed some wood from the left side and neck of the stock to fit the trigger engagement better.

I wonder if it would be at all possible to add a muzzle brake that looks like the one from a HW97k?

15mm muzzle break should fit.

Dogfather here again. I ordered 2 from Dcpi and both had letter "R" stamped on the barrel. Is that some sort of identifier for the gun factory or does it mean refurbished? I contacted Dcpi and they stated they order new ones from China. They said they have no idea what the letter R means. Does yours or anybody else's' have that?

Both of the B3-1's I just received had an R on them as well. New in the sealed package.

The WF600W and P "do" have an anti-bear trap safety. It worked when I sold it to you, Kevin. Just messing with you. When you tore it down if the end of the bear trap got bent it might slide up against the trigger instead of under it. Check it out. It's the piece with the long open slot and the two little springs. If you leave it out it'll still cock and shoot just no anti- bear trap. Later you all.

Mark, did you get both in wood or one in black composite. They had them for awhile in camo plastic.
I kept the black, even though I prefer wood, because I like the better curved pistol grip. Kinda' like My Hatsan Dominator carbine. Wish they had'em in .177.

Tom If you wanted to use a plain generic barrel weight and a B3 barrel clip It might work. I've done that with some B3's. Got the weight/muzzle break and barrel clip from archie. Also I've made a TF97/QB36 front sight assembly work on a B3-3. Little drilling and filing and J&B liquid metal weld. It would be hard to make the 97 Muzzle break work. Diameter of the barrel and cocking lever are probably different.

Tim, never said that the anti bear trap didn't work. Just good practice on the b3-1 & 2 without a safety.
