Just got my HW95 .177 ordered from AOA and a Hawke Air Max EV 4-12x40 AO scope. They are not expecting them in till mid to late Nov so my wait begins like so many of you before me. That's ok. It is worth the wait at that price. They do still have a couple of the .22 if anybody was wanting one of those.

I can sympathize with you; I've been waiting since the beginning of August, but the UPS tracking page says it was delivered today at 3:12PM!

Nice Kels, hope you have a great time with it. I'm tellin ya AMan, I was a bit surprised by it also but it's all good. Lots of time for me to wait for my squirrel season as well so will have plenty of time to get it ready to go.

After sending my defective hatsan 125 refurb back to fieldsupply, I've determined my best course of action for a .22 springer is an HW95 from AoA. Now just waiting for them to open this morning so I can call in my order...should be a nice mate to my .177 R9...

A sensible, informed choice. Am still enjoying HWs I bought in the early/mid '80s.

Yay! AoA had some HW95 in .22 still in stock. Should be shipping tomorrow!

The rep I talked to said they had received 80 each of .177 and .22, and only had a handful of .22 left, next shipment was due mid-November.

Mid November will be here before you know it and we'll worth the wait. Typically they seem to pad their estimates so it may get here sooner.

I got one last month from AOA. .22 caliber. Took about 6 weeks to get to me
Haven't had the opportunity to shoot but about 50 pellets thru it so far, but seems to be easier
to cock than my HW50. Like it fine so far

I got my HW95 .22 yesterday.

Out of the box, it is a little buzzy, but significantly less so than my R9 was when it was new.

The front sight was not finished nearly as well as the rest of the gun, it looks like cheap paint (bumps all over it) but the rest of the finish is typical high quality. The forks are waaaay too tight though. I'm gonna have to take it apart for a lube tune.

Well they called me Thursday morning that the guns have arrived. They are out of the Hawke Air Max EV 4-12x40 AO scope I order until spring but offered a Hawke 4x12x50 for no extra charge so I took that. They will mount and test fire. Should be shipping out pretty soon. WOO!!!!HOO!!!!

I've been browsing around for a moderately priced 22 workhorse when my XS46U deal didn't pan out. I heard the HW95 AOA rumor as well, so I called them yesterday to discover they had it in stock. Shipped same day.

Sounds like I picked the right moment. A blessing in disguise perhaps!

Well the wait is over for me. My HW95 arrived about 30 minutes ago. Very nice. Looking forward to taking it out for some target shooting and checking groups.
