I'm not quite following this. So you're shooting a reduced silhouette target at 300 yards, correct? This would be the equivalent of shooting a the full size target at 700 yards correct? That's very good shooting with an air rifle, but I don't think I would say I'm hitting something at 700 yards away when it's really on 300 yards away. In the military, if you shoot a midget at 300 yards, is it the equivalent of shooting the same midget at 700 yards? No it isn't. Take note of what Cedric is shooting. He is shooting coke cans at very long distances and he post the distance that he is actually shooting, not the reduce distance due to the size of the object. If I totally missed what you're doing, I apologize in advance. I just think the shot take should be posted at it's TRUE distance. The SHOT WAS posted at the TRUE SHOOTING DISTANCE...700 yds......If you would READ the first poster GIPPETO was confused and i explained in DETAIL what a 1000 yd range WAS and the berm placing starting at the 100 yd all way back to 1000 yard benches. SIXSHOOTERTEXAN then explained it to you again....It is NOT A REDUCE SIZE RAM.....It is the 500 meter FULL SIZED RAM but when shooting it at 700 yds it is same size, but the increased DISTANCE MAKES IT LOOK SMALLER from the gun...My title is correct...Shooting from the 1000 yd benches and target placed upon the 300 yd berm, that is 700 yds TO THAT BERM......I also placed RAM on the 200 yd berm which is 800 yds from the gun....Obviously you don't shoot long range and don't understand what one looks like? .........I shoot F-Class with Powder to 1000 yds and these ranges are quite simple....If you also looked at the ZOOMED VIDEO showing gun and OUT TO THE RAM and you would see how far it really is.................Anyway it is way out there.....Go back and read my post to GIPPETO and quite clear to me anyway...........Thanks for replying...........Carl

Hitting that ram at 700 yards with an airgun is just crazy. Excellent long distance air rifle build. Awesome shooting. Its hard to believe how far airguns have come in the last few years.
Rifle50I you dont mind me asking what is the accuracy at 100yds also what pressure are you filling to and what shot count are you getting out of your setup.

I was confused when I read it. Don't get your panties in a wad. That was excellent marksman ship. I doubt if I could make the shot. Are you going to try for the 1000 yd mark anytime soon. What were your wind conditions at the time.
Just kinda chiming in here that for those that don't fully understand this, shooting this far is extremely hard. EXTREMELY! I don't and have never shot 1000 yard competition and this gentleman does. And he has said how hard this is. For me, shooting out to 400-500 yards is hard so i can ONLY imagine how much harder 200-300 ADDITONAL yards is.Its funny too that, cause i shoot out to 400 yards often, im extremely comfortable shooting and hitting things at 200-300. And i don't mean POT SHOOTING or LOBBING. I mean doing it accurately. Eggs on golf tees at 200 yards accurate. At those ranges, the wind plays a big role. When you get to 400 yards +- with airguns, then wind is more punishing. And this plays on you mentally. PUSHING OUT TO 700 YARDS wind must make it seem like the targets are doing the "MATRIX" as the bullets whizzzzz by......lol!I give Carl and Bluethunder much Kudos for even attempting these feats...........................Keep up the good work and one of these dang days i will have a long range session and join you..........

Thanks Rifle50 for the response and the info. I am shooting a Condor with Dougs valve and a TJ 257 barrel and maddog stock and carbon bottle. Some days the gun and i will get along real good the next day just can not get it down to what I like. I have never shot tethered and would imagine that it could help out to keep each shoot close without the drop after 5-6 shoots. May give this a try and see what would change.Again thanks.
Just wonderful shooting. But guys, may I recommend you to make yourself a favor and get a booster. Here you can see my maybe quite confusing setup (click the picture to see bigger image):I have automated it and when have 2 tanks, one for shooting pressure and one for power up the booster it feels like eternity you can shoot with just two tanks. Also you can go very low pressure in tanks and still have full pressure for gun. After booster a regulator, of course.Automation means that I don't have to touch it at all, it keeps up the pressure until one of the tanks is totally empty. Regulator keeps gun fully pressurized until that.

Cedricyou can buy regulators from Joe Brancato or off EBAY. Same regs at both places. Its gold and black.I've seen the one that Joe list and it's around $200 more than the one on ebay. But now that I would like to buy one, I can't find it on ebay. Any idea of the website or company name?

JB is more expensive cause his comes with hoses and is fully complete and ready to go. the one on ebay isn't 100% set up. I bought off ebay
