Need some advice from Ya'll.....

The info on this kid just keeps getting better.  Not really.   The business that he worked for had a meeting with him .  From what the news is, he was quite belligerent.   Said he could not be fired because he had quit.  Well, no remorse there.   The worst news is that on the Friday that the truck was sold he threatened to use physical force against his mother. Said he was going to knock her down with his fists  There was an adult male (his brother) at the house at the time.    He backed off.  He left and spent 36 hours away from home.   Then his mother goes and buys him a Mustang on Sunday and he is all happy again.  What kind of message is that?  
And he thinks he is going into the Army.   Doubt he could make it through boot.  I would not wish this guy on any branch of the military.  However , I know a couple of 1st Sargents in the Special Forces that I would like for him to spend some quality time with.
This kid has broken every promise he has ever made. His word has no value.   Too bad he does not  realize he is not the first or the last to challenge society.  And like the others, will pay the price eventually.   And momma won't be able to save him.  What a sad commentary.

Enough said about this guy. But he is not welcome around me. Strange is  the difference between NEWGUY and this BRAT.

i thank you guys for the kind words about me and my upbringing,  i think as some have suggested a more forceful talking would help him. I think that someone who has gone through life being like that and has been at rock bottom might be able to talk to him best. but it is also possible that even though you dont want it, it could be (and these are harsh words) a lost cause
