I don't know which one of us is more excited, Lou or I... but the rain here kept us from enjoying it tonight.
Into the safe it went for the night.
I will mount a scope I have set aside for it after she shoots it with the open sights.

Nice lookin' sporter, Hoosier Daddy. I know what you mean about the actual versus digital and lit up stock color. I got the same thing with the Minwax #231 Gunstock oil stain I used on the 160 Pellgun. Always wants to show up as reddish-amber. Here's a pic I just took with the afternoon sun (finally!) Showing it more as a light brown on the Elmwood stock.

In other news, I searched for a year now to find a replacement butt stock for my son's 760-C Pumpmaster that came in with the butt plate pried off? They came in today, two days early & look great!

Received Maccari breech seals for my HW97 Black Line in 177. The gun has lost 50 fps and is new with only 1900 shots. The new breech seals did not solve my problem. Not sure how I'm going to resolve this problem.

Received my 6-24x50 IR FFP scope MOA turrets , MOA reticle. Chinese made, and incredibly inexpensive. We'll see how she holds up. I bet on a 300 Win mag PB it might suffer, but for a no recoil PCP, might be ok.

Didn't really order it but I have a Nikko STIRLING GAMEKING 3.5-10X44 AO on the way. I purchased my second of these scopes from Kentucky Gun Company on April 1st but the order was imputed incorrectly and it was delayed almost three weeks before I received it. After mounting the scope I found that the windage turret was extremely difficult to turn and would only turn one round before binding. There was a noticeable rub mark on the bottom edges of the turret knob. I was unable to make any windage adjustments. This is my second Gameking scope the first I've had no problem with but this one clearly has a manufacturing defect. I emailed them and they responded within a day with the tracking number of a replacement. They told me to dispose of the defective one. Great service I thought.

Got an e-mail yesterday that my pair of Hatsan Ultima 3-9x32 scopes arrived at 2:30 pm and would be delivered today. I took a break from work and ran to the PO and picked them up. I ordered them from Amazon but they shipped from Field Supply. Each scope was in a bubble bag and they were tossed in a big ole box with a few pillow air bags. Looked like typical Amazon packing. They came with lens covers and dovetail rings. One had the allen wrench and instruction paper. The other did not.
However, both were unscaved..... surprisingly.
I bought these for the pair of Maximus' I recently picked up from the classifieds here on the GTA. They will get mounted and very much used this weekend.
I have a couple of these scopes that came with combo rifle deals. A springer will eat their lunch but they are just fine for C02 and budget PCP for 35yd. plinking and pesting. I paid $100 each for the guns so I wasn't about to pay $100 each for scopes. These were $25 each shipped.

My Hatsan Optima 3-9X40AO is holding up well so far but I'm disappointed in the glass. Around the edges are.... fish eyed, blurry, wavy....hard to describe, it will be moving to the shelf when my Nikko STIRLING GAMEKING 3.5-10X44 AO arrives. That us unless I decided to swap scopes with my Ruger Airhawk Elite II which has a Leapers UTG Hunter 3-9X40AO on it at the present. Both of the latter have clear glass.

I hear ya..... I've seen the "fisheye" effect before.
I haven't mounted or tried these two out yet.... weekend is coming... but the couple I already have are usable with no 'fisheye'. BTW... these are not the AO type like yours.

Yeah Bill, I've seen it too mostly on cheap Crosman 4x32 "package" scopes. I have an Optimus 3x9 I got with one of my Hatsans on one of my PCP's. Works just fine for what it is used for. As you said I wouldn't use one on a spring gun.

I somehow ordered 2 x 40 count C02 carts. Well that should get me through a week or two.

Jumped on the gamo 20%off sale at pa and ordered several thousand 177 gamo magnum and 177 gamo round balls for my 880’s.
Also threw in a few thousand Beeman pointed in 177 for my 397.

All together it worked out to a penny a shot thanks to the gamo sale

Should be good to go for awhile on 177.
