Weihrauch HW35E Walnut .22https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/spring-piston/weihrauch-hw35e-walnut-.22/
This will be my 3d Weihrauch. The FPS is not very fast but The rifles are OUTSTANDING in quality. This is a rifle you can "pass down" to your grandchildren. This is my first Weihrauch break barrel. I like the "lock up" on this model.
I always like to have some spare scopes around, just in case...
Today was an adventure. Got the CF tube and BR AR kit for the Bandit today. The AR grip has a somewhat captive nut that the grip screw threads into, but I just could not get it to stay in place while I was trying to screw on the grip. So JB weld to the rescue and I should be able to assemble everything tomorrow. I did manage to get the grip on one time, and while it was on I went ahead and test fit the CF tubing and rest of the kit. I got everything to my liking and when I went to test the rig my poppet dumped all of the air when I was trying to fill. Well, that sucked. I tore it all back down and cleaned out the exhaust valve, problem solved. After spending about half an hour trying to get the grip screw in I gave up and JB welded the nut in place. The side folder has a bit more play than I would like, but hard to complain for the price. Eventually I'll upgrade to something better, but it will do just fine for now. When I get everything back together and shooting I'll make a proper review thread. While I was out at the post office I stopped at the hardware store for some nylon spacers to make a larger reg plenum. I'm hoping to hit 925+ FPS with the JSB 10.03 slugs with the tube reg. So far I've only ben able to do it with the bottle reg, but now I can adjust the plenum with my nylon spacers. Without drilling out the nylon spacers a bit I've got about as much plenum volume as I can and still get the drop block threaded into the tube. I may drill the spacers if I still can't hit my velocity targets. I'm torn between going with a dual reg setup or shaving a few ounces by eliminating the bottle reg.
