Please do a review of this scope once you get it and have time to test it thoroughly!   Bushnell is an often overlooked and underrated scope maker!

i've only had a few scope but i'll share my impressions as best as i can . according to bushnell it'll focus to 10 yards and has a 30 year "lifetime warranty" . i'm 58 so yep , lifetime for me it's not true mil-rad (or whatever it's called) but it's not a complicated or cluttered christmas tree thingy . the dots look like they will work fine for me guesstimating hold over .

yep , no FFP scope . looked at some videos of FFP scopes and read some reviews , comparisons and comments ...... they don't really tickle my fancy . everything isn't for everybody ....

Unless you REALLY use the MilDots or MOA reticles as they are intended, FFP really doesn't help.   I adjust my holdover based on knowledge of the size and distance of the target I am shooting at.   Mind you, I usually only shoot pests at ~25 yards.   ~50-55 yards is the maximum of one of my two safe shooting zones.

I use practice and ChairGun Pro to find the holdover at a given range/FPS/pellet/pellet weight.

The MilDots, etc are just nice indices for me as I don't shoot at ranges long enough to make them truly useful as they are intended.

Today my fedex guy delivered my new Beeman R7 and hawke 2-7x32 scope. I now look forward to a good barrel cleaning and set up for some serious plinking. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet as work keeps me till 9pm. Maybe tomorrow I will have time to mount the scope.

 Refurb .25 Hatsan Veticus arrived today, full of air, so I mounted the open sights and loades a mag of H&N Hunter Extreme, sighted in quick and finished off the mag quickly. Function is flawless so far. Still not used to looking at the bottom of the air tube for the pressure gauge  and sure is lighter and easy to shoulder and carry

Well, thanks to a member here (Thane) and an e-mail from Hatsan with 12% off and free shipping, I caved and ordered a refurbished Hatsan AT-P1 Pistol in .177.  I have been wanting one to see if I can replace the ugly grips with some wood grips that may improve the looks and possibly make it a tad lighter.  I originally wanted one in .22, but I have a decent stash of .177 pellets and only a couple springers in .177, so maybe I can reduce the inventor a bit with this beast!

I told them I really wanted a Taipan Veteran short in .177, but they only have the .22 and .25 on the website. Luckily, they happened to have one that they had gotten for someone else and he/she flaked. So I'm the new owner!

i have and had many airguns and none comes close to the taipan's in any shape or fashion, accuracy and reliability.

Baker Airguns is only a few miles from where I work I go down there all the time to BS buy stuff and Dennis shows me all the super high end guns he has when I come in.

  After 70 years, USPS just dropped off my second Daisy Red Ryder - adult size this time. Felt just like the kid who unwrapped my first one all those years ago. And guess what? It's just as neat as the first one! This one will go to the grandkids in the will. Till then it will hang on my wall as a reminder of what started all those years of hunting and fishing enjoyment.
