Looking to go shooting this weekend - fingers crossed. 

Just some brief notes- the PA ad details that there is a bottom picatinny rail installed.  Did not come that way.  Called PA and the woman was not very helpful and blamed FX.  Basically said they would just delete it from their description 

For me not a big deal, as I did not plan on using it anyway, since I ordered the Saber Tactical mount for the bottle (from Utah airguns). But for those who want that rail, it doesn’t come with it and there is no pre-drilled hole for it. 

If you look close at the case, you can see the cut out area they even made for it. 

Both barrels have what appears to be Donnyfl adapters for 1/2 UNF.  Only one thread cap between both barrels.  Great that you don’t have to keep swapping the adapter, but would have been nice to have another thread protector. 

For anyone in the market for the crown, I think this set up is worth it over the regular version based on what you get. 

Can’t wait to shoot it and report back.

Just pulled the trigger on that Boyd's stock for the Maximus that was in the classifieds. I got lucky because if i were going to order one from Boyd's it would be that one.

I purchased a HW98 from Krale, and I couldn't be happier. I also purchased a Hawke Airmax 2-7x32 AO scope. I'm really liking it.

Gavin, it shows it with the rail under the stock on FX's webpage also.  Although it doesn't show it on any of the vendor websites, so maybe they were originally going to add it and then changed their mind.

Yep, and will still have the synth stock to swap on if I want to take it to the woods and beat on it. Stock swap takes what, 5 minutes?

True, I was really tempted to cut a channel along the inside of the stock so you could just pull it right out when the safety is in the safe position. That way you wouldn’t have to remove it every tome you need to remove the stock. But, never did...

I did have to take a little off just above the wrist to get full adjustment on the power adjuster knobs I made.

 Ordered 400 more of the 26.1 gr AVS slugs and 200 of the 24.2 gr. Great slugs for the ATI Liberty, and Freedom.22 cal. rifles ! Just load and shoot

Thanks to Tracking Log,  rather than wait for delivery, I was at the PO at opening time and picked up the HW35E I bought from uglymike.  It is everything he said it was and more.

I received a tin of RWS Meisterkugeln wadcutters in .22 today.  I opened the Amazon box, untaped the tin, pulled the top off the tin, grabbed a single pellet, loaded the pellet into my 2400KT and opened the back door to take aim at a marauding rodent.  Less than a minute later the squirrel I drilled just above the zygomatic arch stopped flopping and twitching- the wadcutter having once again punched through the tree-rat's skull with enough force to cause major hemorrhaging out of the "away" ear.  I consider these perfect shots as there's zero meat damage and the animal is instantly brain-dead.

I know a lot of folks don't like Amazon for pellets.  Me- I've never had a problem.  I order one tin at a time, I only order pellets that I know that random jostling cannot open, and I do not order the tin with anything else in the same order.  These are my results every time- a perfect tin of very accurate pellets.

I guess it also says something that I can grab a pellet out of a tin I just received and perform brainstem destruction surgery at 19 yards every time with this airgun/pellet combination.  All my Crosman barrels love RWS pellets.
