Ordered 4 tins (one free) of H&N Baracuda .25 Cal, 31.02 Grains, Round Nose from Pyramid Air this morning. Should be here in the morning before 9 am. Now that the Hatsan 95 Vortex is sighted in, I'm anxious to see how the  Baracudas shoot compared to the 19.19 gr Field target Trophy pellets. 

All this talk about these "deals" everyone is picking up, I think I'll pay a visit to the WallyWorld and see what's on the clearance shelves. I have an old Chinese .177, and would like to pickup something in .22... just for grins & giggles.

The guy down the road has an old airplane hanger stuffed full of junk, I heard he was cleaning it out and selling everything and he may have a few old airguns. I stopped yesterday after work and he told me he had sold them. I was about to leave when he remembered he had one more. He looked around and found it. It's a QS-35 Industry Brand underlever pistol in .177. The bluing was mostly gone but the wood looked fine. He didn't even know how to cock it or put a pellet in. I asked him what he wanted for it and he said "heck son, you can have that old thing". I brought it home, opened the loading port, put a .177 cphp in it and cocked it. Slapped a steel blank about 20 yds away pretty good. The gun is complete and everything works Nice little freebee. I'll get it cleaned up and do a thread on it. That butt ugly stock finish has to go for sure.

I went to our daughter's house today and painted the nursery for the new grandson who is expected within the month, then stopped by Wally World in Eastlake, Ohio and found two Benjamin Trail NPs sitting in the clearance rack for $98 each. One was still sealed, so I bought it with a tin of hollow point Crossman pellets for $6.46. While not the NP2 with the better trigger, it was still a good deal in my mind. The best price I've seen online for this gun was $149, so I'm happy.

Got it home and sent a couple dozen pellets downrange to start breaking it in before she got home, and while a little long in the pull, the trigger isn't too bad at all. The groups are erratic right now, but after about 100-150 pellets it should settle down. I think I'm going to have fun this gun, especially for $98 bucks.

Almost forgot....I REALLY like the 3-9x40 scope with mil dots, and the sling points already installed on the gun. Big bonus for hunting tree rats.

It's not as fancy as some other guns on here but it still made today exciting. I received my Ruger Impact .22, and 1k JSB heavy pellets. It's a good looking clone and shoots wonderfully. Picture attached.

I picked up my new to me RAW HM1000X 25cal rifle yesterday.  All I can say is "wow". It has a Benchmark 3 groove ss barrel and a beautiful gray laminate stock. Martin is an awesome craftsman.

When my nephew moved to Florida he left me 40 co2 cartridges, as he couldn't take them on the plane. I don't have any co2 air guns, so I ordered a crosman 1911 kit.

I didn't need the bb's or the glasses, but for some odd reason the kit was cheaper than the gun by itself. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, as compared to my other airguns, co2 is LOUD! The "it's a staple gun" excuse won't work with those to my apartment neighbors, so I'll only be able to shoot it occasionally at a friends yard.

Ordered 3 CH2009-120 Power Adjusters for the 2 Discos and 2400KT $39

Grrrrr.... that's why they were out of stock when I called.

I ordered the same part on August 20. They didn't tell me it was out of stock. Still haven't received it yet. Three different delivery trucks stopped by this afternoon, and all three times I was disappointed. My wife doesn't online shop much, but somehow she coordinated three deliveries in one day!

also in my order is a front endcap, a rear grip screw, one hammer spring for each of disco, 1322, 2240, and 2300s. I plan to try the 2300s and 1322 spring (both cut down) in my 1740 and see if one does better than the cut down 2240 spring. The original spring in my 1322 is bent because I accidentally used the long breech screw instead of the short one that comes with the breech. I'm going to try the 2240 spring in the 1322 and if I can't make a decent or worthwhile air conserving pumper, I'll put the disco spring in and keep it a one shot deal.

edit: received my order this morning. Didn't realize the power adjuster came with a disco spring... So now I have an extra. I also thought the power adjuster had a grub screw, but it doesn't, however I'm glad it doesn't because it takes some effort to turn the adjuster (tight threads or something internal providing friction and holding the adjustment bolt). I dint have to take tools with me when I go shoot and tune my pistol, which is nice.

I just received this morning at work a 21" soft case for my Diana LP8 pistol, 6 tins of pellets, and a BKL droop mount, all from PA.

Last night FedEx man brought me a Mendoza RM 3000 Golden Scorpion .22 break barrel. Found it on Amazon. $255, free shipping. A little high. It has the Mendoza twin trigger like on a Air Venturi Bronco or TF M8.  I like that trigger on my M8 but wanted a gun with it with more power. This gun brags 965 fps in .22, .177 not available. I was schrolling through air rifles and air soft stuff Amazon offers. It was on page 13 and down below some of Mendoza's other guns. It has a light colored vanished thumbhole stock. 45" long, 13 3/4" pull length, 19" barrel but with the first 14" rifled instead of the typical Mendoza 9 to 9 1/2" of rifling that's suppose to reduce recoil effect on the pellet. Fiber optic open sights, 11mm scope grooves, no scope. Has sling swivels back bottom of stock and on the bottom of the cocking lever and comes with a sling, a bottle of silicone based chamber oil, plastic tin of 200 Mendoza pellets, quality control certificates in Spanish and manual in English and Spanish. The receiver looks a little thicker and longer than my TF M12 also made by Mendoza. Might have a bigger spring. My M12 broke the scope that came with it before I got it zeroed. Rear sight is not the slide bar type in the picture but a modern one with wheel adjustments. Going shooting in the country this weekend. Try and let you all know how it does.

Got my Benjamin 397 this morning . Good deal from Amazon . I actually waited a week before I broke down and ordered one . I was impressed so much with the feel and heft of the rifle I ordered a 392 to keep it company . . I couldn't help it . Kirby
