Anyone familiar with the Cometa v rifle..... about 60 yrs. old

Zombie thread, I know, but I'm a zombie member, catching up.
I came back because I am just starting a rebuild of my Cometa 5, which was a Christmas present in 1960, when I was 8 year old. I'll start a new thread and post some questions.

I am back on this project. Need advice on disassembling the powerplants. The spring retainer appears to be both pinned and threaded.

I don't know if there is much difference in the construction of the various Cometa versions over the years.  Here is a site that might be of use to you when comparing the rifle parts you have in hand with the schematic drawings available.  https://www.gunspares.co.uk/categories/24033/Cometa/  I have an old Crosman 3100 that is actually a Cometa 100 and have been able to find parts and such by looking at mostly European sites.  You can always attempt to contact Cometa.  Being a Spanish company and Covid still an issue in most of Europe, you may try writing more than once before receiving a reply.  https://www.cometaairgun.com/en/resquet-information-contact-airguns-air-compressed.php

I checked out the Cometa sight. They have some nice guns now. The 100 hasn't changed much. The stock's a little different in front and the front hooded sight looks plastic the front sight on my one of my old 100's is metal on grooves. My other two 100's have the grooves but came without the sights.

I have an RWS93 also. Not sure which Cometa it's a clone of.
