HW100 KS FAC how do decrease power

guys i purchased the gun few days ago. i am sure it is shooting 300+ fps. if any of you have hw100 fac, can you post video or write how to decrease power? i will get chrony in few days. but i need tutorial too how to do the job. dont post 12ft/lb gun videos. they are too old.

I won't be posting a video and I, too, am sure it is shooting over 300 fps .  If you have a .177 HW100 FAC it will be shooting well over 1000 fps or 325 meters per second, and it ought to have the muzzle velocity (MV) reduced. There are two things to do to decrease power.  First is to access the hammer spring screw and turn it counter clockwise (CCW).  The other thing to do is to balance the regulator with the reduction in power by adjusting the regulator.  You will have to disassemble the action by removing the two retaining bolts and then turn the regulator adjusting screw CCW.  I have found that if you back off the hammer spring adjusting screw one turn, then back off the regulator adjusting screw half-a-turn, both CCW, in a 2:1 ratio.  This will reduce your MV and increase your shot count.  I have adjusted my own HW100 FAC in .177 to just over 15 foot pounds of energy (that's an 8.44 grain pellet going 900 fps) and I get 100 shots per fill.  You can adjust yours to your liking, though there is a threshold below which an FAC will not adjust.
