That stock turned out great!

I have been talking about getting into small scale hydrgraphics for a while now. Maybe next time I have an influx of money.

When I was in the planning stages of my barrel, part of the reason I went with an 1/8" wall thickness sleeve is that I wanted something different..... I planned on having it fluted purely for aesthetic reasons... So.....I am in the finishing stages of the small details of this build and decided to go for it! Here it is!

Looks pretty, but the very outer layer of the tube (be it carbon or steel) does the most of the work in stiffening the barrel.... so you will have lost a bit of stiffness....

I read something about that..... I didn't put any flutes on the bottom and only did 0* and 90* 1/16" deep leaving me 1/16" sleeve in the bottom of the flute... but I know I compromised the integrity some... It was a risk I was willing to take based on the fact that Brent's barrels shoot darn good without any sleeve at all.. I do have another sleeve on hand so I guess if I don't like it I will just pull that barrel off and put another on.. $:-\$

Its coming........ I am so detail oriented that I drive myself crazy sometimes!!!!

I have one more detail I'm working on .. a bolt knob made to resemble the 200gn BBT and that's it .. I promise!!!!

Then cerakote.. Then SHOOT!!!!!
